B.B. King - Deuces Wild
LOVE that CD - duets with Willie, Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Dr. John, and all kinds of talent.

The Band. The group, the album. One of the greatest albums ever.
Amen. One of the best bands ever, in my opinion.
Underground Garage played the Last Waltz for its Anniversary yesterday. Never heard it so gave it a go. I don't quite get it. I'm sure it'd have been top live, though.
Cream
Unknown Mortal Orchestra
Friendly Fires...and remixes...still...top, top.

Did you listen to the album or watch the DVD? If you just listened to it, I'd suggest watching the DVD. If you watched the DVD, then I suggest watching it again. Personally, for The Band playing their own songs, I think Rock of Ages is a much tighter album. The guests, however, make The Last Waltz.
Allmans. Ludlows Garage.
Just listened to it...I've been told to watch the DVD...will do if I ever find it...

Which recording?
I was actually listening to the two recordings I have side-by-side. I have the Hyperion recording with Matthias Goerne and the DG recording with Fischer-Dieskau. They are both great performances. I guess I'll always be fond of the FD one because it was the first I owned.

Interesting.
Currently listening to Florence + the Machine wondering if I should be embarrassed that I'm really enjoying it.
