A classic I suppose but I always found the 'subjects' a little cheesy. For 2011, the backup singers alone in Jamiroquai's Smile has been nice for the beach.

Well, anyone who knows me would tell you I rank pretty high on the cheese-meter. Smile my grandma used to sing it when I was a kid so I always think fondly of her when I hear it.

I dig my cheese, too - no worries! BTW, thanks for mentioning KOB, gave me great idea for this rainy day off work ahead of my semi final tonight. Cheers.

Cool

Gonna catch him live at ACL Fest next weekend and can't wait - bucket list item for me.

As for right now, listening to a local artist who I predict is on the verge of hitting it big soon - Sahara Smith. For those of you who would appreciate a voice like Alison Krauss with sort of a "Texas jazz" mood, give her a shot as she's pretty amazing. Easy of the eyes too...

With T-Bone Burnett backing, hitting it big will indeed happen.

Funny, I had never even heard of T-Bone Burnett or Ryan Bingham before Crazy Heart, but I think they both are quite talented.

Very surprised you had never heard of him - he is a very prolific producer.

Pearl Jam, in honor of the new Cameron Crowe documentary. Honestly, I had pretty decent taste as an eleven year old.

My son was at the movie premiere at the TIFF and that evening saw them live at the Air Canada Center. Good day if you like Eddy and Co.

My sister and quite a few friends attended that gig as well...
