Seriously, between this (probably my favorite album of all time) and your Juliette Binoche... errr... Unbearable Lightness of Being post...

Anyway, Dire Straits and Derek and the Dominoes this morning.

P.S. Lena Olin isn't too shabby either, and DDL is my favorite actor.

Excellent! Stick...I look forward to sharing some wine, conversation, and good music with you someday. I love violin, and Lucia Micarelli.

The violin is like the chordae tendineae of the heart; delicate, yet powerful and emotional.

We will definitely have to partake together, hopefully sooner rather than later. I performed with Lucia about two years ago as part of Chris Botti's roster. Both she and Chris are a true joy to work with.

Fwiw, are you related to Julie Albers, cellist?

Very nice stick! I can't think of a better steward of Jazz than Botti; must of have been a great experience!

To my knowledge, no direct relation to Julie, although, she has the "look" of our family. But then again, Josef Albers looks like my grandfather, but not sure if there is any direct relationship there either. Someday I would like to research the family tree...
