Yup it was. The advantage of no shipping charges. FWIW the price was just OK. You can get the at the winery with perfect provenance for not much more. You just have to go to the winery or know someone who does. I'm planning on a trip hopefully in January and could swing by to grab whatever from them. Would just need to figure out shipping

I'm not buying much in the way of recent vintages anymore, as I won't be around long enough to enjoy them. So, I am picking up older vintages of French, Spanish, and Italian wines.

You're healthier than me and I'm your junior. Such crazy talk.
Although I get your point. I've been pondering when to quit buying period. With right around a 1,000 bottles in the cellar and typically only consume maybe 100 a year I have quite the back log of inventory and not getting any younger as the saying goes.
My Tablas Creek order came yesterday - full case of assorted stuff including a couple bottles of 2011 Espirit. My Kutch order should be here tomorrow.

My Tablas Creek came two weeks ago. Somehow I missed buying 2016 so I got a full case of 3 x 2016 Blanc and Rouge Espirit, 3 x 2017 same.

Saw a random FB for sale post selling a small wine fridge and some "fancy" wines. Recognized some labels and asked for a list. Went right over after I saw the list and picked it all up for $400 as storage and condition appeared very good. When I asked why she was selling, she said her husband didnt drink any more. As i was leaving she said he'll probably cry when he gets home so maybe she wouldnt tell him. I think thats a good decision. He may kill her if only for the last one on the list.
