mimik, I remembered your and billhike ‘s comments about this wine on the WAYD thread, so bought one to try. Last time I had Mon Coeur was more than a dozen years ago when it was mostly Syrah I believe, and pretty good. I think I paid more for it back then than I paid today.

If you want a stunning qpr from côtés du Rhône, try Domaine Charvin’s le poutet Cdr from any vintage.

Interesting.  The last release was 2011.  Nothing in 2012 or 13.  I understand that 2014 was a small release; hasn't been seen yet in Ontario or Quebec.

Rick, this is the only vintage available here.

I bought a few bottles of this wine from 2004 and 2005 vintages, but none since. Not intentionally, we just don’t seem to drink Spanish wines very often. That said, this wine and Torre Muga IMHO are probably two of the best values in premium reds.

Hope you’re able to find some. It’s pretty unusual in my experience for BC to have desirable wine that’s not available in ON. Usually, it’s the other way around.

Great wine the Prado Enea. I don’t believe they made it in 2012 and 2013 as they only make it in good years. I believe the next vintages are the ‘14 and ‘15 and they should be in our market soon.
