Its really frustrating...I've seen them go for $135 + BP, plus tax, plus shipping.  I get it a high demand wine would go for over its release price, but this wine is out of control.

What I have heard is that the winery has specific buying requirements for their other wines before you can get the Rosado or even some of their whites. Something like you need to buy X number of cases of the red reservas  before they can allot you a shipment of the rosado. This in part is what drives up the price.

I just received an offer for 2006 Dolium.  I'm temped.  Hopefully, if I decide to buy it, it will have already been snatched up so I won't have to spend the money.  Actually, hopefully one of you fine fellows who really appreciates Northern Rhone has already snapped it up.  I don't want it to go to a collector.  But how would a collector even know what it is?  Price is fair, too.  $445 from an excellent source.  If you didn't get the e-mail and you've been chasing this unicorn, let me know -- I'd prefer to pass for a forumite, I think.  I think.

That would put a dent into your monthly sanitizer budget.

That's correct. Even if you're at the winery, you need to buy 1 case of Tondonia Tinto to get 1 bottle of Tondonia Blanco. 2 cases of Tondonia Tinto to get 1 bottle of a Gran Reserva. That may extend to the Rosado also, but the allocations/requirements may be even higher for it.
