For wine geeks, 2015 seems to be a great year to be born, to be wed or to birth children.  As it stands, i'll take 1970, 2004, 2009 & 2011.

Also bought 2017 Little Wings x 3.  Jorge still has this...buy up if you got the offer and didn't pony up.   I brought a bottle of the 2015 on a camping trip a couple of weeks back and it was fantastic around the camp fire.

One positive about the border shutdown: I have no interest in ordering wine from US retailers when I don’t know when or if I’ll be able to get to Lewiston to pick them up. I already have 36 bottles waiting there and and equal number waiting to be shipped from California.

I bought five cellar defender bottles at the LCBO about 10 days ago. Other than that, I’ve been doing really well with the moratorium. 

Entering a moratorium. Got news yesterday about several large customers at work backing out of and/or pushing out orders, as well as several shuttering for a few weeks. Going into some sketchy times.

Got my mystery 4-pack Oregon Pinot from Garagiste today. Had to have it shipped, because they aren't opening for pickup on Saturdays right now.  Anyway, purchased before the sky fell. 

Turned out to be a 2014 Ken Wright Cellars horizontal from: Bryce, Guadalupe, Tanager, and Freedom Hill vineyards.

I decided to reload on a mixed case of some QPR’s that my wife and I both enjoy, since we are making dinner at home every night and opening more bottles.
