I have been getting mailers from them for about 3 years and have never bought, nor even tasted a wine from them. The big offer this year is a magnum signed by Volker Eisle. Well the last vintage of Cabernet that WS reviewed was the 2001.

WTF ? This is the first year they have offered wines on a pre-release it says.
Another offering is the 2002 Terzetto. The last vintage reviewed was the 01.

I guess the reason I bring this up, is that I was wondering who gets fooled by a fancy mailer and a fancy name buying untasted yourself ?
What are some of the places you have bought from to give it a shot because of a fancy letter, and how bad was the wine ?
