I think the idea of a WS Zoom "online" would actually be pretty fun.  Pick a wine that everyone could buy and open together and enjoy.  Has anyone done that yet?

We've done it a few times with the canadian guys, but we just pick a theme and talk tasting notes.  Few folks will go 3-4 bottles into the night and fall asleep right at the keyboard snoring.

Two of the competitors are doing milk.  i'm going to be opening an aussie shiraz

Rothko, back in April I set up a continual Zoom meeting and sent out the invitation to as many of the WS forum peeps as I could find via email and Facebook. The word spread and we got a huge turnout at the first few - something like 35 people. It petered out fairly quickly after that, but a handful of diehards kept it going for a few months.

Since June, a group of nine of the Toronto crew have been doing a Zoom tasting every two weeks. We each bought a set of twelve 4-oz screw cap bottles from Amazon. On tasting day we each pick a bottle from our cellar, pour nine taster bottles and label them with our name, then meet at noon in a parking lot to exchange them. We do the blind tasting of the nine bottles that evening. It works beautifully.
