i think you need a wine lover with many years of professional writing experience to objectively chronicle this momentous occasion ‚ and i volunteer. i could bring food, or... something. i just don't have any of the wines involved (or anything worthy to join these in a lineup).
Ummmm... so... I have family in Virginia that I've been meaning to visit, and a few bottles of SQN laying around!

Agreed.
Wasn't there an epic SQN tasting in DC a couple of years ago? I recall they had about every SQN wine ever made. This will be less epic. Smaller epic.

I am leaving for Norway Sunday, so as long as it's not next week, I will try to work my schedule around it. Have two kids 4 and 1 1/2 year old, but a very understanding wife, so just need a little notice.

Lentini...... I think the mini-epic goes to you, Jackstraw, and I. This will at least be a little more epic than that 3 SQN night. Don't have any at the moment, but I'll try to dig one up for this (or just bring the bubbly for the pre-game).

Any thoughts on dates yet from the Local Group? I will throw a date out, but I really think we should work around the local group, in case something comes up
I think this is shaping up for a weekend? Weekday would be easier for me but weekend may be possible now that HP has thrown out the evil elf and freed us peons from 14 levels of travel approval.
Weekend is best for me. Mid-july and early-August is pretty wide open at the moment
