Got mine in the mail on Thursday. Pretty weak IMO. On first scan nothing stood out as a buy.
Still nothing up here in the great white north... the Sassicaia magnums in this release?

yah they are, the 1.5 and 3l for sure... whats with 5k for the 6l? i still didn't a copy of classics today....

Is everyone else having as bad an experience as me this morning?
I picked up a Mag of the Sassicaia and some Ridge Estate. My screen sat on the page before the order confirmation for almost 5 minutes before it went through. But it finally did.
As an aside, a 6 bottle limit of the Sassiciaia mags is idiotic when there are so few bottles, so it makes perfect sense that the Kommissars chose that as the limit.
Got some 2008 Mailly. Checkout was slow but went through.

Vertigo, I've tasted the entire Mailly lineup at a tastings with the agent and liked their champagnes. With some of the 2008 Brut in my cellar already, I like the idea of one that spent a bit more time before disgorgement for the 2008 vintage. Haven't opened any of the 2008's yet so can't comment directly.
Yeah, the Vintages website was particularly brutal this morning. Got what I wanted....after 12 minutes.
One of the most interesting releases - at least for me - in a long, long time.
