to drink now or drink later pinot noir

i have a bottle of william selyem pinot noir russian river valley 1992 given as a gift and i was told to keep it rather than drink it just yet...from what i have found i should be drinking it now...is that right?

I would drink it within the near future, it may be past it's prime as it is. Good luck and let us know how it was.

I agree, even the best bottling by Willams Selyem was to be consumed by 2004. It should still be decent, but may be a couple years overdue.
