96 Hobbs: definitely reminds you of CA CS; typical oak, earth, tobacco, berries; medium-bodied with full aromas; tannins have definitely mellowed out; drink now but wait till 2006 or so; not overpowering, but rather reserved now; 88 points currently, but has potential to be a 91+ wine
98 Benton Reserve PN: great PN from Oregon; full nose which just jumps out from the glass; tastes of cheeries, flora, roses, a hint of vanilla; 87-89 points
