I have not tasted the '03 Cab either (I know I'm being really helpful). But, I had a bottle of the '03 Viader Cab Franc "Dare". Oh boy, this is toward the top of my list for CA Cab Franc. My notes are simple - intense fruit that leads all the other standard Cab Franc charecteristics with lots of perfume and floral qualities. All of this followed by a smooth, medium-finish that demands that you drink more. 8 out of 10 (so that's like a 93-95 equivalent for the 100 point system)
Here's Laube's take on the '03 Estate:

Aromas of dill and cedar turn firm and austere on the palate, where they're joined by earthy currant, blackberry and mineral nuances. On the finish, it turns complex, with the flavors neatly folding together. Tannins are ripe and balanced. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2007 through 2012. 3,644 cases made. (91 pts as latour mentioned). (JL)
