TN: Westrey 2004 Pinot Noir

I heard good things about Westrey and bought a couple of bottles of their 2004 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley over the weekend. Decided to open one tonight with dinner. Great bouquet of raspberries, cherries and earth. Very pleasantly surprised at the "earthiness" of the wine. Unfortunately, the palate did not match, not giving much apart from high amounts of acidity.

At $30, the wine delivered very poorly on the QPR scale.
