I recently found these on sale for $15 each and thought I would give them a try. This estate was founded in 1997 and is in Northern Baja between Tijuana and Ensenada.
NV Casa de Piedra Espuma de Piedra EP+rs
100% Zinfandel from the Baja Peninsula. This Rose' sparkling wine had a lighter bead. Light pink color with an orange tint. This was more floral and fruity than the blanc version from this estate which we drank as well. Well rounded but not very complex and a nice easy drinking sparkler. 87 points.

100% Barbera from the Baja peninsula. I think this is the first time I have had a sparkling wine made from Barbera. Moderate bead. A simple but very pleasant sparkling wine. Dry and crisp. 86 points.
