I already had one in my cellar when I came across two more of them on a discontinued wine discount shelf in my local market. I was estatic when I looked at the price: $13.20 a piece, unfortunately their were only two of them. Can anybody give a review of their thoughts on this wine and whether or not it is ready to drink. Thank you

(This request probrably should of being put in the tasting notes folder). Yes, the price is correct, I think what happened is the store personnel were getting rid of CSJ merlot and the sonoma cab, but they inadvertantly put the the two cinq cepages with them, the labels are all similar. I also picked up the merlot for $10.50 and the sonoma cab for $13.20.

I'd just walk out mumbling the now popular saying, "you snooze, you lose!" Big Grin

Just for Sh!ts and Giggles, I ran this through the English to Moron dialectizer:

rick, speckator gabe if 84pts tastid 5 time an no two bottle tastid the, ERRRR, same! Huh huh! an de rest is not good! Huh huh! sorry ! Doihh, COOL!

English to Redneck:

rick, speckato' gave eff'n 84pps tasted 5 time an no two bottle tasted th' same! an th' ress is not fine! Fry mah hide! so'ry ! Fry mah hide!

I tried to find a Moron to English converter for the original, but no luck.

This wine was very good, but definitely a needs to rest in the cellar another year. Very coarse, with very defined black pepper. It tastes like I have the peppercorn in my mouth! Beyond that, dark and jammy, probably because of the oak, but I recall dried raisins or plums... (33 views)

It is French, and we all know how CDR feels about this country, but it may still be our man.
