OK ... I don't have much experience here, but I'll give it my best shot.

It's got a nice nose of spice, and fruit (berries). Full-bodied, easy tannins; not at all heavy. It was very easy to drink w/ or w/o food. I had it w/ chicken fried steak (Italian style) w/ melted cheese and a sun-dried tomato, garlic and evoo sauce. I thought I prefered it early when it was just off a slight chill. As it warmed to room temp, the long, smooth finish changed my mind. This is a very tasty chioce.
