Out of half bottle. At 10 years old, it is showing no sign of age, and no secondary character. This will be a monumental wine when it's ready. Deep ruby with hints of black. The nose is intoxicating. Notes of black rasberry, sous bois, stem, dried red rose, cola, sweet cigar spice, sandalwood, and kirsch. Plenty of tannin clamping down on the long mouth-coating finish. This is and overlooked piece of land from an overlooked producer. Those who want a window into great Burgundy should try one of Gros Frere's Clos Vougeots! 94+ pts.

Out of 375ml...This is one of those wines that will be great at all stages of the game. Had again tonight...just lovely. It improved gorgeously over the night. Still a baby, but lots to love right now. This was just a touch more reserved than the last bottle, but I'm splitting hairs...93+ pts.
