I went into this not knowing what to expect, and was pleasantly rewarded. I have had the '67 d'Yquem, and thought it to be very good, but not mindblowingly good. This was not far off of that. Moderate honey/orange in color. Fantastic balance here. Apricot, blood orange, white flowers, honey, ripe pineapple, and botrytis dominate the nose and palate. All parts of this wine are in sync. Great long finish, and improved over the 3 hours it was sipped. Better than the '59 I had a couple of months ago. 95 pts.
