Tasted from bottle at the winery. Last had a barrel sample of this a year ago. The final blend is 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. The grapes were picked at 23.5 and 24 brix in the excellent 2020 growing season. Damn! This is the best bordeaux blend Jim Lester has ever made. Full bodied. Deep crimson color. The red fruit notes jump off your tongue. Notes of sweet cherries and tobacco. Long finish. 93 points.
