Opened this on a beach last weekend watching a sunset. 100% Riesling sourced from blocks M, I and N on the Leelanau Peninsula which collectively consists of three different clones 49, 198 and 239. Secondary fermentation by the cuvée close method. I previously had the 2018 and 2019 vintages of this wine and liked them both. The wines are made by Kasey Wierzba (one of Michigans female winemakers) who previously worked at Far Niente, Rudd, and Frog’s Leap wineries. Clear white color. Crisp and clean. Notes of citrus and grapefruit. Strong bead. Well made. 90 points.
