This Rose' is 90% Tibouren and 10% Grenache made from the estates oldest vines which are more than 40 years old. Aged for 12 months in 100 year old oak casks. Because of the rarity of the Tibouren grape, this wine has a bit of a cult following. Pale rose color with a little orange tint. A fuller bodied Rose' with spice notes mixed in with strawberry and plum. Just a touch of oaky nuances. Very interesting. 93 points.

Interesting. I'm not familiar with the producer or Tibouren but I see our local wine monopoly will be releasing the Tentations rosé from Cibonne soon. The description says it is only 15% Tibouren with grenache being the dominant varietal in the blend. I'll pick one up to try based on your note VM

And I echo Haggis' comment on the Pichler TN you posted.
