TN: 2018 Wyncroft Merlot LePage Estate Shou

This is the first vintage that Jim Lester has made a 100% Shou Merlot. 2nd time I have had this wine with consistent notes. Not decanted. Medium purple color. For the softer vintage that 2018 was in Michigan, this had more depth and body than I would have expected. Solid red fruit notes. Softer tannins and drinking well right now. 89 points.
