TN: 2018 Fontodi Chianti Classico

An estate we visited in 1998. I previously had the 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2001 vintages of this wine. Crimson color. An earthy and rustic wine. Notes of iron and burnt cherries. I expected more fruit in a 2018 Chianti but it was a nice old world style. 88 points.
