TN: 2017 Lake Michigan Vintners Merlot (Lake Michigan Shore)

Tasted at the winery. From the excellent 2017 vintage in SW Michigan. The grapes were sourced from Michigan States SWMREC location. My favorite red at this tasting. Garnet color. Lush tannins. A slight sweetness to the fruit with cassis and dark chocolate notes. 87 points.
