From magnum. Thomas Rivers Brown is the winemaker at this St. Helena estate. Garnet color. This was opened at the end of the night. Not decanted. A big burly wine. 14.7% alcohol. Notes of raw meat, 5 spice and cassis. Firm tannins. Just a touch of heat along with the spice on the long finish. 93 points.
