This estate is located in the southern half of the Chianti Classico region in the Commune of Castelnuovo Berardenga.100% Sangiovese aged in wooden cask. Light ruby color. A smooth and elegant wine. Soft tannins with notes of cherries and violets. In a great spot at the moment. I bought this based on Sucklings score which surprisingly was not far off from my own. 91 points.
