TN: 2015 Stephane Aviron Chénas Vieilles Vignes

Sourced from vines planted between 1900 to 1923. The soil is made up mostly of sand and small pebbles which results in very low yields. Macerated for 7 days and whole cluster pressed. Fuller body for a Beaujolais. Spicy red fruit with cranberry notes. Well rounded and simply an excellent wine which shows no decline at 7 years old. 92 points.
