The Weilberg is one of only two red loam vineyards in Germany. 200 cases made. I've only had 1 other wine from this producer and it was not a Riesling. Opened at Salt of the Earth restaurant in Michigan. Clear straw color. No petrol aromas. A dry Riesling with apple, pear and slate notes. Nice match with food. 89 points.
