TN: 2012 Domaine Serene Pinot Noir Evenstad Reserve

Opened by Jcubed as part of a small 2012 Oregon Pinot lineup. Not decanted. Ruby color. This wine was mineral driven with solid acidity. Round texture which needed some time to open up. Notes of red currants and leather with some caramel nuances on the finish. 90-91 points.

The Evanstad is my favorite of theirs. I'm not sure how I missed the '12, but I know I've still got some '08 and '10 in the cellar.
