TN: 2010 Villa Al Cortile Brunello di Montalcino

From the excellent 2010 Brunello vintage. This estate is owned by the Piccini family and contains 12 hectares in the Southern end of Brunello di Montalcino. Not decanted. Scarlet color. This was drinking beautifully at 13 years old. Velvety, soft and with a feminine profile. Floral and lavender nose. The tannins were integrated. Notes of licorice and black cherry. I've found that these mid level Brunello form 2010 vintage are an excellent value. 93 points.
