From magnum. Bought this magnum on sale for $45. A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot. The 17 hectares of vineyards for this Cru Bourgeois estate border those of Château Mouton-Rothschild, Lynch-Bages and Pontet Canet. Not decanted. This took a while to open up in bottle. Notes of lead pencil, currant and burnt oak. Supple tannins. Give this time. 89 points.
