TN: 2008 Pierre Paillard Champagne Grand Cru La Grande Récolte

Opened by Allred. I've had a half dozen Champagnes from this producer and have always liked them. Light straw color. I liked this better than the Moncuit served earlier. Rather young tasting for being 15 years old but 2008 was a top vintage in Champagne. Solid bead with citrus, chalk and white fruit notes. Lively finish. 92 points.
