Opened by Allred at the end of a long wine drinking evening. I don't drink many LBV's. Deep purple color. Notes of raisins and prunes with a meaty texture. Not as deep or concentrated as most of the vintage ports I've had. 88 points.

lbvs for me are usually just pop and pour the first year or two at release. if you get the chance, try an lbv with some sichaun food
