2005 L'Angevin Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast, Stage Vineyard

A terrific floral nose. Loads and loads of sweet strawberries and candied raspberries like in those soft jelly candies. A soft clay-like finish. Very nice depth of fruit and decent length give it a real polished style. Parker mentions some "cola" and probably that describes the finish a little better but I didn't want to take credit for that descriptor. Drink now or with short-term aging.

A if price ($59) isn't factored in.
