I've had limited experience with Crozes-Hermitage, but this is one of the best ones I've had. Shows a LOT like an Hermitage for half the price (of the less expensive ones).
Dark in the glass, shows the syrah. The nose might tease you into thinking this has more age than it really does. Dark fruit notes, with heavy backing of leather and spice. Pretty long finish, 45 seconds or so.
I think this is showing pretty well for its age and pedigree. Has enough tannin for me to imagine this going strong for another 4-5 years. No harm in holding, no harm in drinking. Just decant for 2 hours or so. No score.
