2004 Valdicava Rosso di Montalcino - Italy, Tuscany, Montalcino, Rosso di Montalcino (2/25/2007)
Ruby red in the glass. Meaty nose with red fruits and coffee. At this state the wine tastes quite young with present acidity and tannis. After 2 hours the wine softens a bit and the flavors of red fruits and leather showing well against the big tannin and acidity framework. Definitive something for for another 2 years in the cellar. (88 pts.)
