  • 2004 Freeman Pinot Noir Russian River Valley - USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (2/10/2007)
This is drinking beautifully right now. Sweet perfume of cherry, raspberry, strawberry, and rhubarb, which carry forth on the palate. Silky in texture and light in weight. Just the faintest hint of pepper on the finish. However, I would not call it a deep wine. In many ways, this Pinot is like a romantic comedy: it puts a smile on my face without making me think too hard about it. 90-91 points. (91 pts.)
