This was a fun wine to try... 100% Uva Rara. A varietal I hadn't tried before.

The wine really reminded me of a Loire Cabernet Franc... it had a subtle chalky/olivey Cab Franc flavor profile.

The wine doesn't see oak, I believe, so it is very clean and the fruit is clear but doesn't dominate or overwhelm. An early drinker, but an enjoyable one, for sure.

I'd say.... maybe... 88pts. Recommended to try for fun. Especially if you're intrigued by the thought of an Italian Cab Franc-like native varietal.
