TN: 2004 Carlisle Syrah Sonoma County (USA, California, Sonoma County)

2004 Carlisle Syrah Sonoma County - USA, California, Sonoma County (2/18/2007)
I wasn't sure of what to make of this wine at first. It is still fairly primary, but at the same time -- even with all that concentration -- it is welll balanced. Admittedly, this wine is not going to please many a Francophile, but if you can just enjoy the concentrated fruit, it is quite a wine. This is a very nice QPR.
