TN: 2003 Woop Woop Shiraz

Now, I'm a fan of Woop Woop. I had the 2002, and have hyped it up a few times. However, something is funny with the 2003.

Out of the bottle, this was dark purple (but not opaque... as I would have expected) with violet/pink rim. Notes of blueberry and blackberry with some tar. However, on the palate there is something amiss. I noticed some sour fruit... and I couldn't get past it. I don't know whether this was a bad bottle, but the palate didn't support the nose at all. I didn't finish it, so I'll try the remaining later. I also have 1 more bottle. Very disappointing. 82-84 points.
