TN: 2002 Oliver's Taranga Vineyards HJ Reserve Shiraz, McLaren Vale

I haven't never had a wine from them before but this is pretty good.

Open 1 hours before serving. Deep ruby color. The nose is quite strong with oak and milk chocolate cover blackberry. Full body but fresh and retain quite high acidity. This has a taste of cassis, ripe currant, and ripe berries. Slightly bitter on long finish. Satisfying but it's too bad the bottle I had earlier this week was '03 Mitolo GAM. 91 points.,

Nice note, DP. This 2000 vintage of this wine was named Wine of the Year by Winestate Magazine (Australia's Wine Spectator-ish publication). It's very good.
