Had this last night w/ our gyros.
A blend of Cab Sauv and sangiovese. Out of the bottle, the nose reminded me of grape jelly. With a little more air, notes of dark fruit became present. I could detect a faint "sour cherry" note from the sangiovese. Not too complex, but a good amount of fruit for a wine at this pricepoint ($7). Good acidity, and a medium finish. 86-88 points.
