TN: 2002 Alois Kracher Welschriesling TBA #8 Zwischen den Seen

Opened by a friend. This was at least the 24th Kracher dessert wine that I have had and the 3rd from the 2002 vintage (the others being the #3 and #12). Served a little too warm. Aged in stainless steel and 8.5% alcohol. This is 100% Welschriesling which is not related to the Riesling grape. Darker brown color. A dense and unctuous dessert wine with apricot, mango and sweet condensed cream notes. 93 points.
