Another bottle which Pinot Envy brought to Las Vegas. This bottle was brought to a Seafood restaurant and opened with dessert. We also had some left over and drank it with brunch the next day.
This was an excellent dessert wine. Nicely balanced, good acidity and low in alcohol (9%). It was probably the best dessert wine from Jackson Triggs that I have had. Better than the 2001 Cab Franc Icewine or the 2001 Gewurz Icewine. Both of which were from Niagra and not BC. This wine had an intense nectarlike sweetness. Purity of fruit and light on the finish. 92 points.
