The last of my 3 bottles that I purchased on release for $15. Very advanced but still drinking well. This wine from a middle tier producer is a testament to the excellent 2001 vintage in Germany. Good acidity. Notes of pears, apricots and green tea. Good balance and a nice round finish with secondary nuances of slate and minerals. Much deeper and more serious than the bottles that I had 6 and 15 years ago. Little to no petrol. Drink now. 91 points.
