TN: 2000 Château Ferrière

4th time I have had this wine. The cepage is 75% Cab Sauvignon and 25% Merlot. The wine gets 50% new oak. Decanted 1 hour before drinking. Much smoother and rounder than the Cal Cab we drank before this. Notes of sweet cream, red currants and lightly toasted oak. The tannins were soft and approachable. The best showing so far. 92-93 points.
