2000 Araujo Estate Altagracia Red Table Wine - Napa Valley, California, USA (10/27/2004)
Pretty disappointing. This opened up with intense notes of spicy oak and bell pepper. With air this showed some black cherry and candied red fruit. On the palate this is fairly bright and tart with a paucity of depth and somewhat chalky tannins. I have half a bottle remaining in the cellar, but my hopes are low. (82 pts.)
