TN: 1999 Gunderloch Nackenheim Rothenberg Riesling Auslese

375ml bottle. Sparkly clear gold color. Wonderful creamy tropical nose. Almost the sweetness of a dessert wine. So rich, so deep, so unctuous. A treasure at 24 years old. Can't imagine this has ever been better. Notes of candied pears, pineapple and mango. Soft finish with just enough acidity. First time I have had the 1999. It was better had the 2002 and almost as good as the magnificent 2001. Why don't I buy more Gundelach's? 97 points.
